Delete Your EphemeralSteps Account
This page explains how users of EphemeralSteps can request deletion of their in-app account and associated account data managed by SunSunny.
1. How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your EphemeralSteps account, send an email to: [jjmissing@gmail.com]
Use the subject line:
EphemeralSteps Account Deletion Request
In your request, please include enough information for us to identify your account. Because EphemeralSteps may create accounts automatically through a device-based sign-in flow, you may not have a traditional username or password. To help us locate the correct account, please provide as many of the following details as possible:
- your in-game nickname, if available;
- your selected region or country, if available;
- your approximate last login date;
- your device model and operating system version;
- your Google Play order ID for any recent purchase, if relevant;
- any other information that helps identify your account.
2. What Will Be Deleted
Once your request is validated and processed, we will delete or permanently anonymize account-linked data that is no longer required for legal, security, or operational purposes.
Account deletion is generally permanent. After deletion, you may lose access to account-linked content, progress, purchases, rewards, and any other game data associated with that account.
3. What May Be Retained
Certain limited information may be retained after account deletion where retention is necessary or permitted by law.
- purchase and payment verification records needed for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance;
- security logs and audit records needed to investigate abuse, cheating, fraud, or service misuse;
- records required to enforce legal rights, regulatory obligations, or platform requirements;
- temporary backup copies that are automatically deleted or overwritten in the ordinary backup cycle.
Retained data will not be used to restore ordinary account access except where required for legal or security reasons.
4. Third-Party Services
EphemeralSteps may use third-party services, including AppLovin MAX for rewarded advertising and Google Play Billing for in-app purchase processing. Deleting your in-app account with SunSunny does not automatically delete data processed independently by those third parties under their own policies.

5. Processing Timeline
- We receive your deletion request.
- We verify the request and may ask for additional information if needed.
- We process the deletion or anonymization of eligible account-linked data.
- We send a confirmation reply when the request has been completed or if additional action is required.
We aim to complete valid requests within 15 business days. In complex cases, or where permitted by local law, we may require additional time. If that happens, we will notify you where reasonably possible.
6. Reconsideration and Partial Limitations
If we cannot fully delete all requested data, we will explain the reason, such as legal retention obligations, security obligations, or the inability to verify ownership of the account.
If you withdraw your request before deletion is completed, please reply from the same email address and clearly state that you want to cancel the deletion request.
